Draw made for 2015 Parish Cup

St Ola retained the Parish Cup last year after also winning in 2013.

Holders of The Orcadian Parish Cup, St Ola, have been drawn against Sanday in the preliminary round of this year’s competition.

The draw was made earlier this evening at the Pickaquoy Centre.

With 13 teams competing for the trophy this year, three teams —Flotta Hoy & Walls, Stenness and Firth drew a bye to the next round.

This year’s preliminary rounds will also see a West Mainland match-up between Birsay and Stromness.

The full draw is: Preliminary round — South Ronaldsay v St Andrews; Rendall v Westray; Birsay v Stromness; Sanday v St Ola; Holm v Sandwick; byes Flotta Hoy & Walls, Stenness and Firth.

Quarter-finals — Holm/Sandwick v Sanday/St Ola; Rendall/Westray v Flotta, Hoy and Walls; Birsay/Stromness v Firth; Stenness v South Ronaldsay/ St Andrews.
