Goals galore in the Parish Cup
It was goals galore in the quarter-final first legs of The Orcadian Parish Cup at the weekend.
Westray beat St Andrews 3-2 in Saturday’s first match, while a fellow isles side didn’t have the best of fortunes in Holm.
Sanday were two goals to the good at half-time against Holm, but the home side rallied to pick up a valuable 3-2 victory.
Sandwick and Rendall’s match is delicately poised after an entertaining 2-2 draw in Dounby on Sunday afternoon.
The goal of the match undoubtedly goes to Sandwick striker Steven Poke who scored from the half-way line to make it 1-1.
The final first leg of the quarter-finals is scheduled to be played next Sunday between 15-time winners St Ola and defending champions Stromness.
