Hard work reflected in exam results
Initial analysis shows that Orkney pupils have done well in their examination results.
Students who signed up for the Scottish Qualification Authority’s text or email results service should have received their results between 8am and 9am today, with results-on-paper delivered by post throughout the day.
Peter Diamond, Orkney Islands Council’s head of schools, said: “We are pleased to see so many young people doing so well.
“The standard of results achieved in Orkney has traditionally been high and we are pleased that so many pupils have performed well again.
“Pupils have worked hard at achieving these results throughout the year and I congratulate them and school staff for their efforts.”
