Health board changes

Vice-chairman of the board of NHS Orkney, Jim Robertson, has stood down after serving his two terms in the post.

He is to be replaced with fellow board member Liz Middleton who was elected at the NHS Orkney board meeting last night. She will take over the role from March 1.

In another change, Craig Spence has resigned from the board and will officially leave at the end of March.

Board member Mairhi Trickett is due to leave in June, leaving three vacancies, which will be advertised shortly.
