Home win for First XV

Orkney Rugby Club’s First XV marked their first home game of 2014 with victory over Mackie Academy in RBS Caledonia Regional League Division 1 today.

Orkney beat the Stonehaven side 37-8 at Picky this morning to claim the bonus-point victory – their fifth league win on the bounce.

The hosts went behind briefly in the first half, but regained the lead before half-time, and produced an impressive second-half performance to secure a deserved win.
