In this week’s The Orcadian
This week’s edition of The Orcadian is available in shops and online today.
On the front page, we report that dental patients in Orkney have been left in the lurch after a Kirkwall dentist apparently fled the county.
It is not yet known how many patients have been affected, after “significant concerns” were raised three months ago during a routine inspection of Deyanov Dentistry, run by Dr Nick Deyanov.
Also in the newspaper, the final respects were paid to former deputy First Minister Lord Jim Wallace, who was laid to rest near his home in Tankerness on Tuesday.
