Investigations into power cut under way
Investigations are continuing into a power outage that left around 205,000 households across the Highlands and Islands in the dark last night.
Power went out shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday night but had been restored to all areas by 12.30am this morning.
Scottish and Southern Energy are concentrating on an area between Moray and the south of Inverness in their efforts to trace the fault.
The outage affected an area from Fort William northwards into Caithness and Orkney.
