Island Games day three begins

Day three of action at the International Island Games being held in Bermuda, gets underway soon, with more Orkney athletes looking to get their hands on medals, after yesterday evening’s silvers.

Orkney are currently sitting 13th overall in the medal table.

Fresh from his silver medal in the triathlon team event on Sunday, cyclist Torquil Clyde is in action in the men’s individual time trial at Clearwater Beach which begins at 1.30pm GMT, while Orkney’s golf team tackle round two at Port Royal.

Andrew Leslie is due to compete in races five and six of the laser standard rig while Orkney’s young swimmers will be in action in the pool.
