The new councillors for Kirkwall West and Orphir are as follows:

• Alan Clouston (elected at stage eleven).
• Jack Moodie (elected at stage one).
• John Richards (elected at stage two).
• David Tullock (elected at stage nine).

The percentage poll for the ward was 46.94 per cent.
