Living Orkney on the shortlist again

Living Orkney has this year been shortlisted for two PPA Scottish Magazine of the Year Awards.

This is the sixth time in its 11-year history that the monthly magazine – published by the Orkney Media Group – has been shortlisted.

In 2014 it won the Small Publishing Company Magazine of the Year award and this year has been shortlisted again in that same category.

Designer Carrie Gunn has also been shortlisted in the new Magazine You Wish You Had Published category.

This year Living Orkney will be up against The Ayrshire Magazine, East Lothian Life , The Athol Quair, The Bredal Bane Quair and Crieff & Comrie Quair, while Carrie will be up against 11 magazine designers from across Scotland, all of whom designed a Front Page without restrictions.

The awards ceremony will be held in Glasgow on December 1.
