Man dies after taking unwell on ferry

Police have confirmed that a 79-year-old man has died after he took unwell while aboard the MV Pentalina, which travels between St Margaret’s Hope and Gill’s Bay, yesterday morning.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
