Missing boy found, safe and well

The search for a missing schoolboy was called off on Saturday, after the 12-year-old turned up safe and well.

According to police, the boy, from Hoy, had been staying in Kirkwall and had last been seen around 12.30am on Saturday morning.

The youngster was later traced and police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
