Orkney Baby Bank launches for families in need

An Orkney health visitor is going the extra mile for families, by opening an equipment bank for those in need.

Orkney Baby Bank is the brainchild of Janine Channon, a familiar face to many young families starting their parenting journey as one of our county’s health visitors.

It aims to give donated items such as buggies, baby carriers and bibs a second lease of life, by making them available to those struggling with the expense of providing for their little ones.
