Overhouse Charollais does the double
The winner of the supreme sheep title at the 2016 County Show was a Charollais gimmer shown by A. & V. Copland, Overhouse, Harray.
The sheep was also named champion at the Dounby Show on Thursday.
Bought in Wales last October as a ewe lamb, the sheep was sired by Aberkinsey Officer and out of the dam Aberkinsey 464 by Glyn Coch Mr T.
The reserve sheep title this year went to a Texel gimmer owned by L. S. Flett & Co., Nistaben, Harray.
The sheep was sired by Garngour Vintage and out of a Haddo ewe by Strathbogie Smokey Blue.
