Road works around Kirkwall

Orkney Islands Council is due to carry out surface dressing and road marking in and around Kirkwall, over this weekend and next week.

Weather permitting, the work will be carried out at Hatston Brae, Great Western Road, Lynn Crescent, Glaitness Park, Laverock Road, Lynnpark, Marwick Drive, Muir Drive, Peerie Sea Loan, Quoybanks Crescent, Reid Crescent, Holm Road and Old Scapa Road.

Traffic in the affected areas will be managed or temporary road closures will be put in place. The Council has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the co-operation of drivers.
