Rovers claim derby victory

Rovers recorded a 2-0 derby victory over Kirkwall rivals Thorfinn in the Orkney Cheese ‘A’ League this evening.

Steven Tulloch opened the scoring for the visitors at the Bignold Park just before half-time, with substitute Scott Walls ensuring the win with a late strike.

Rovers’ Aiden Drever was named as the Swannay Brewery Man of the Match, and the Kirkwall side are now three points off league-leaders Rendall, who beat Hotspurs 3-1 at the KGS pitch earlier.
