Scottish Water works on Pickaquoy Road

A short section of Pickaquoy Road, Kirkwall will be closed this week to enable works to be carried out on behalf of Scottish Water.

The works will see the closure of Pickaquoy Road between Junction Road and Great Western Road and is expected to last all week, from Monday, December 11, to Friday, December 15.

According to Orkney Islands Council, access to the Crafty car park and pedestrian access along Pickaquoy Road will be maintained at all times during the course of the works. However, drivers will be unable to access Pickaquoy Road from Junction Road and vice-versa, and should plan their journey accordingly, they say.
