Shapinsay Show cancelled

Following yesterday’s confirmation that the East Mainland Show would not be going ahead this year, the Shapinsay Agricultural Association have also announced the cancellation of their show.

The committee announced the “difficult” decision through their facebook page yesterday evening, citing poor ground conditions, a poor long-range weather forecast and farming activities being weeks behind schedule as the reasons for the cancellation.
