Stronsay book launch awakens Christmas spirit

Stronsay children are the stars of a brilliant new Christmas book, which follows Santa on his busy night delivering presents to all on the island.

Santa’s Stronsay Spree, written by Gaynor Smith, captured the imagination of the community, who gathered for the book’s launch on October 16.

Eilidh and Arya, who feature in the story, cut the ribbon to open the signing, and unveiled the display of paintings by Jennifer Graham, who illustrated the books.
