Ten-man Orkney go down against Invergordon
Orkney FC’s four-match winning run came to an abrupt end at the hands of Invergordon this afternoon, losing by three goals to one at the KGS.
It marked a disappointing day all round for Orkney who finished the match with ten men after Owen Rendall’s dismissal.
Charlie Macdonald’s header put Invergordon ahead before Steven Hellewell’s 25-yard piledriver levelled the match up at 1-1.
Invergordon grabbed a deserved win though with two second-half strikes — the second of which came after Rendall saw red for two bookings.
