Toab gallery opens its doors
A local artist will fulfil her dream this weekend as she opens her own art gallery in Toab.
After receiving financial support from the Business Gateway, and spending months renovating an old dairy shed, Celia Clark, from Millfield Farm, is now ready to open the building named the Hagi Hús Gallery.
Originally from Orkney, Celia returned to live and work here several years ago and was inspired to resume her career as an artist.
Her current way of working stems from these earlier interests in photography and her love of the finished graphic quality of screen printing.
As of Wednesday, July 18, the gallery will be open between Wednesdays and Sundays, between 1.30pm and 5.30pm.
