Video shows conditions at sea during ‘Sunrise’ rescue

The Longhope RNLI have released a video which shows the conditions at sea as the Kirkwall and Longhope lifeboats went to the aid of the stricken trawler Sunrise.

The Kirkwall lifeboat was called to the scene at 8am on Thursday morning, returning to station at 1am this morning.

The Longhope volunteer crew was asked to assist just after 1pm on Thursday and arrived back home at 10.30pm.
