Wildflower authors launch new book

To mark the launch of the latest book from The Orcadian, the authors will be signing copies in The Orcadian Bookshop, in Kirkwall, this afternoon.

The Orkney Book of Wildflowers: Wildflowers by habitat – from shore to hilltop is by Tim Dean and Anne Bignall and is a sister volume to The Orkney Book of Birds.

Written by Tim and illustrated by Anne, the new book takes the reader on a colourful journey through ten flower-rich habitats – from sea level to the top of Hoy’s Ward Hill.

Both will be in The Orcadian Bookshop this afternoon from 2-4pm.
