Window smashing prompts police appeal

The window of a home in Kirkwall was smashed in the early hours of this Sunday morning, and police are now searching for culprit.

Officers have launched an appeal for witnesses, who may be able to provide further information about the vandalism.

The incident occurred at 2.15am Sunday, January 23 at Weyland Terrace.

According to police, the window was smashed by unknown means.

Anyone with any information about this incident is urged to contact Kirkwall Police Station on 101.
