Albert Tait set to leave OIC
The former chief executive of Orkney Islands Council, Albert Tait, is set to leave the authority at the end of next week, after a decade with the authority.
Mr Tait’s time with the council comes to an end on December 21, a move he confirmed to councillors yesterday, Monday.
Mr Tait served as chief executive of Orkney Islands Council between June 2010 and last month, during the period while Alistair Buchan was seconded to Shetland, having served for the previous eight years as director of finance and housing.
