Dust off your dancing shoes for tenth ceilidh weekend

The tenth annual Orkney Ceilidh Weekend gets under way today, Friday, and according to organisers, things are all set for a great weekend.

Secretary of the event, Mabel Besant said: “Bookings are equal to last year, which is great seeing this is our 10th Anniversary — there will be a few special touches to mark the occasion.

“It is all systems go now for the workshops and ceilidhs, with lots on offer for every ability of dancer.
