Easthouse gimmer is County’s champion sheep
The champion sheep at today’s County Show was a Suffolk gimmer, shown by David Summers, of Easthouse, Toab.
Reserve went to a four-crop Texel ewe, owned by this year’s show president, James Cowe, of Little Howe, Holm.
In the national Beltex competition, Raymond Flaws, from Nisthouse, Evie, took the Orkney championship and reserve, for a shearling ram and two-crop ewe, respectively.
