Final call for Orkney Creative Place bid

As part of their bid for a Creative Place Award, the Orkney Arts Forum would like to hear from anyone holding a creative event or activity in the county next year.

But with a deadline of the end of July, time is short.

In 2013, Orkney was shortlisted for a Creative Place award of £150,000. Applications are now open for the 2014 awards, and the Arts Forum is in the process of putting together an Orkney-wide bid for the same award.

As part of the bid, the forum will be putting together a proposal about the local events that could benefit from the funding. The award is not intended to fund core programmes of existing events but the proposal could include stand-alone events or activities or creatively enhanced existing programmes
