2014 Folk Festival on Radio 2

For those who missed last night’s broadcast of Radio 2’s The Folk Show, featuring last weekend’s 2014 Orkney Folk Festival, the program is now available online.

The hour-long programme features an audio postcard from the event, featuring highlight’s from the four-day festival.

Among the guests are Orcadian singer and guitarist, Kris Drever, Orkney band, The Chair, Irish favourites, Dervish, American singer Aoife O’Donovan, and local singer, moothie-player and storyteller, Billy Jolly.

The programme also features special performances from inside Maeshowe and the Italian Chapel, as well as tracks from local acts The Wrigley Sisters and Saltfishforty.
