Events & Administration Co-ordinator (14 hrs per week)

£15 per hour | Office-based in Kirkwall | Flexible hours

Kirkwall BID is looking for an organised, proactive team member to support the delivery of town‑centre events and provide essential administrative support. The role involves working closely with local businesses and acting as a positive ambassador for Kirkwall town centre.

What you’ll do

• Support the planning and delivery of public events that boost footfall and
community engagement
• Co-ordinate logistics, suppliers, volunteers, and on-the-day operations
• Assist with licences, documentation, risk assessments, and compliance
• Provide essential administrative support, including gift card
administration, member communications and database updates

Experience in events, strong administrative skills, and confident communication are required.
