Loganair reach out to campaign group

A Loganair spokesman has confirmed that representatives from the airline have contacted the organisers of a Facebook campaign against the cost of flying to and from Orkney, Shetland and other Scottish Islands, with a view to setting up a meeting.

The airline’s spokesman said today that they are now discussing when the meeting will take place.

The page – Islanders against Flybe and Loganair’s excessive prices – was launched on Saturday night and has gathered well over 13,000 likes since.
