Missing girl found safe and well

A 13-year-old girl, reported missing on Rousay on Friday evening, was later found safe and well.

A full-scale search, which included local police and coastguard units from Stromness, Kirkwall and St Margaret’s Hope, was launched on and around the island following the missing persons report.

However, the youth was located at 7.30am on Saturday morning.
