Missing teenager found safe and well

After an appeal this morning, police have confirmed that a missing 15-year-old girl has been found safe and well.

The teenager was reported missing on Saturday and police were anxious to trace her. However, it is understood she was located in Kirkwall this afternoon.

A spokesman thanked the public for their assistance in this matter.
