NHSO warn of Boots Pharmacy closure on Saturday

NHS Orkney are advising the public that due to staffing difficulties Boots Pharmacy in Kirkwall will not be open on Saturday, June 11.

Boots will remain open as normal this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The health authority say that patients who intend to collect prescriptions from Boots on Saturday will have to arrange to collect these before 1730 on Friday, June 10.

Sutherlands Pharmacy in Kirkwall will be open on Saturday for people requiring Community Pharmacy services.

Boots will reopen on Monday, June 13 as normal. NHS Orkney have apologised for this reduction in service and any inconvenience caused.
