Open day at refurbished OFS factory

The Orkney Fishermen’s Society (OFS) factory in Stromness re-opened this week after the final phase in what has been an 18-month programme to refurbish and upgrade the facility.

To mark the completion of the refurbishment work, OFS is hosting an open day this Saturday, February 1.

The event, from 10am till 3.30pm, will allow members of the public to see the machinery in operation, with display tours and the opportunity to taste some of the produce available for sale.
