Orcadian set for Scottish Open

Kent-based Orcadian, Craig Sutherland is due to begin his quest for Scottish Open success at 3.30pm this afternoon as he tee’s off alongside Jason Barnes and Shiv Kapur. The £3.25 million tournament, being played at Gullane in East Lothian was won by Justin Rose last year and is one of the biggest Open’s on the European Tour circuit.

Craig qualified for the tournament with success in a 36-hole qualifying tournament in North Berwick and will now be sharing the greens with some of the biggest names in golf — Ian Poulter, U.S Open winner, Graeme McDowell, five times major winner, Phil Mickelson and defending champion, Justin Rose.
