Orkney RFC secure bonus point win against Highland

Orkney RFC secured a 33-8 bonus-point victory over league rivals Highland at the Pickaquoy centre pitch this afternoon.

The visitors took the an early 0-8 lead through a try and a penalty, however it was to be their last points of the match as tries from Denis Hayes and Marcus Guthrie gave Orkney a 12-8 half-time advantage.

A second from Hayes after the turnaround was followed by the bonus point score from William Thomson. In the last play of the match winger Philip Ross scored under the posts to put the icing on the cake.
