Orkney gig for X-Factor winner

As X-Factor fever sweeps the nation, Orkney is about to get a taste of the hype as reigning champion of the ITV show, Matt Cardle, heads to Orkney.

The budding star will play a concert for all ages in the Pickaquoy Centre on September 23.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, August 27, from Grooves at 9am. They cost £20 each, and there will be a maximum of four tickets per person.

The gig is open to all ages, although under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets cannot be reserved in advance.
