Orkney & Shetland labour candidate confirmed

The Scottish Labour Party candidate to stand for Orkney and Shetland in this May’s general election has been named as Gerry McGarvey.

Mr McGarvey, who lives in Gartmore, near Stirling, works as a parliamentary assistant to MP Dame Anne McGuire.
