Police appeal for missing woman

Police are trying to trace a 30-year-old woman thought to be making her way to Orkney.

Trudy Thomson has not been seen since Thursday, November 21, when she was known to be in the Hull area.

At that time, she said she planned to travel to Sheffield, catch a bus to Aberdeen and then take the ferry to Orkney.

To date, she has apparently not arrived in Orkney and it is not known if she completed any of her intended travel plans.

Ms Thomson is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, large build with long, dark curly hair, which she normal wears tied back. She has piercing in her nose and lip and also has tattoos on her back and arm.

Police are keen to trace her and are appealing for anyone who has any information contact them via 101.
