Police appeal for stolen bikes

Police are appealing for information in relation to a theft by housebreaking which took place between 4pm on Monday, July 2 and 9pm on Sunday, July 8.

A property near the Orphir Road and Scapa Junction was broken into and power tools and two bikes were stolen from the garage.

The bikes are described as a blue/orange Giant Stance Men’s bike and a blue Diamondback Sync 4.0 Men’s bike with distinctive blue pedals.

If anyone has any information, in particular if they seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, they are urged to contact Kirkwall Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
