Road accident fatality named

Police Scotland have confirmed that the motorist who died as a result of a three-vehicle road traffic collision outside Finstown yesterday, Friday, was 84-year-old Geordie Chalmers, from Sandwick.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw a Blue Vauxhall Agila travelling between Kirkwall and Finstown around 11.50am, to contact them on 101.
