Snow closes Kirkwall Airport

Kirkwall Airport is currently closed due to snow on the runways.

According to the airport manager David Berstane, work has been ongoing to clear the snow, and it is hoped the airport will be open this afternoon.

Mr Berstane advised passengers to check with their airlines for further information on delays affecting flights.
