A bit of ‘Disney Magic’ at Hatston Pier

An estimated 1,000 spectators gathered at Hatston Pier this evening, to bid farewell to the Disney Magic cruise ship.

The large crowd gathered from 5pm, and were delighted to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse among the characters who entertained from the decks above.

Spectators were thrilled to see Goofy do a Highland Fling in his kilt, and both those on shore and aboard thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment provided by Kirkwall City Pipe Band and the Just Dance dancers, as holiday-makers boarded the ship.

The Disney Magic departed Kirkwall on schedule, at 6pm.
