Building trade invited to council energy efficiency event

Representatives from the local building trade are being reminded that they’re invited to an event next Friday, which will look at the funding available to make Orkney’s homes more energy efficient.

The OIC looks set to receive up to £700,000 from the Scottish Government, which will be used to pay for the installation of home energy efficiency measures.

The meeting takes place from 1pm until 4pm on Friday, May 17, in the Pickaquoy Centre.
