Double header for Orkney Rugby Club’s First XV

Orkney Rugby Club’s First XV host Hillfoots, at the Pickaquoy Centre tomorrow in a ‘double header’. The match kicks-off at 1pm.

A win could see Orkney extend their lead at the top of the BT Caledonia League Division One table and progress to the final of the Shield competition, where Glenrothes wait.

Orkney will be looking to continue their recent good form after a 54-7 win away victory against Ellon last weekend saw them go to the top of the league table.

The thumping win — ten tries and two conversions to one converted try — completed back-to-back bonus-point results for Orkney, following the previous Saturday’s 24-5 home win over Strathmore.
