Ferry will depart as scheduled

Orkney Ferries have been in touch to say that the Varagen will depart Kirkwall at 10.10am as scheduled for Eday and Sanday, however the company added that this could be subject to delays on arrival and departure.

The notification comes after a previous statement by the company earlier this week warned of possible disruption to the service.
