Fire brigade called to Kirkwall property

A fire at a property in the Papdale East area of Kirkwall has now been extinguished, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS)has confirmed.

The fire brigade were called to the fire at Strombery this Sunday afternoon.

Two appliances arrived at the scene at around 3.45pm. According to a spokesman from SFRS, the fire has been extinguished and no injuries have been sustained.
