Highland Show success for Young Farmers

Orkney Young Farmers have had a successful weekend in the Scottish Association Of Young Farmers Clubs stockjudging competitions, held as part of the Royal Highland Show, at Ingliston.

Charles Copland, from Harray was crowned the best individual in the sheep section, while the Orkney District team consisting of Alison Ritch, Dave Fraser and Karl Muir was named the winner of the Associate team section.

The success comes in the year of the 65th anniversary since an Orkney Young Farmers team first travelled to the Show.
