Hockey side through to Scottish District Cup Final

Orkney’s senior ladies hockey side narrowly defeated Hillhead this afternoon, to reach the Scottish District Cup Final.

The defending champions held their nerve in a nail-biting semi-final, defeating the Glasgow side 3-2 on penalty strokes after a 2-2 draw during normal time.

Orkney will now defend the title they won last year on May 6, as they go in search of a fourth District Cup title.
